Organization Description:
Raise The Arts is a non-profit organization that uses dance and visual arts to raise funds for Wells on Wheels – an organization that purchases waterwheels for women in rural India, decreasing physical disabilities and allowing young girls to attend school. During the summer, our Art Director paints customizable hand-painted paintings and sells them to raise funds. During the school year, we plan an end-of-the-year dance show to further our donations towards Wells on Wheels. Our goal is to annually raise enough funds to purchase 100 waterwheels, which sustain one entire village.

Job Description:
Assistant Director/Dance Director will assist the Director with all dance show planning, organization, budgeting, and donation of funds. They will train for 1-2 years for the Director position. Assistant Art Director will train under the Art Director for 1-2 years, learning about creating paintings, finding a theme, logging orders, and outreach functions. The Media Manager will make all posts, flyers, dance programs, and videos for all purposes. They will be focusing on advertising for the annual dance show and summer art paintings.
