Dancers Dressing Dancers Mission Trip 2023

One of our projects, Dancers Dressing Dancers, successfully completed its first mission trip to El Salvador. Delivering dance wear for struggling studios in developing countries, our project is allowing for young dancers to continue to pursue their passions without the worry of its high cost. Thank you to all who supported and we look forward to our continued work towards accomplishing the mission of this project! We are now working in planning our next mission trip in 2024 and working with struggling dance studios in other countries.

Collaboration Cleanup 2023

In an attempt to create a collaborative effort between numerous environmental action organizations in Miami, Volunteering Miami hosted its first Collaboration Cleanup to maximize on the impact volunteers make on the environment around us. Our first Collaboration Cleanup was hosted on April 8, 2023 at Matheson Hammock Park, in collaboration with Clean Aqua, Turtle Team, Pick It Up Mission, Earth SOS Miami, Uplift Operation, and Lavender Ribbon Initiative. Thank you to all the organizations who helped make this event truly a success and to the 100 volunteers that attended! We hope to see you all at our next collaborative environmental event soon!

Volunteer Fair 2023 V1

Through the Volunteer Fair, Volunteering Miami helps to connect students from across Miami to organizations that are looking for student volunteers and interns. Students will come to meet local organizations and learn about opportunities for students across Miami. On March 4th, 2023, we had 40 organizations host booths for volunteers looking to create a positive impact in our community. A special thank you to Miami Palmetto Senior High School for allowing us to host this event at the very school we started our organization at, and to all who attended.

Volunteer Fair 2022

Despite the rain, our first ever Volunteer Fair truly was a success. With the help of our sponsors and donors (Sunstate Bank, H&H Jewels, Fendz Asset Management, and Tutoring for Tomorrow) Volunteering Miami was able to create an event that truly impacted hundreds of students. Additionally, a special thank you to the Village of Palmetto Bay for hosting our event at Thalatta Estate on November 20, 2022. Through our first Volunteer Fair, we were able to connect hundreds of students to representatives from 23 organizations, all while having a great time and taking a step towards positive change in our society today.
