Miami Book Fair’s Literacy Initiative

Address
300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33132
Organization Description
The Children’s Trust’s Books for Free works on 2 community-based levels: On one level, young children are able to pick up books for free, selected from bookshelves found in a variety of locations around the county. And on the second level, people donate their gently used – or new books that keep our 70+ bookshelves all over town, from juvenile court to community service offices, clinics to parks, and community centers stocked with books. One big connected circle.

Any Further Specifications
We at Books For Free would provide a handsome flyer for the host’s book drive, and a pretty Books for Free bin to collect the gently-used children’s books. We would also coordinate with the student volunteer the drop off of the collection bin, and the pick up of books and the collection bin.
