| Job Description |
| Volunteer Ushers assist the theatre with receiving patrons while helping them find their seats, helping patrons in any way they can, passing out programs, and monitoring the auditoriums during performances. Ushers are expected to exhibit kind and courteous behavior toward patrons at all times, and are relied upon to keep a watchful eye to prevent any seating or safety issues. |

| A professional-looking, uniform appearance by our volunteers is essential to presenting Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre as the world-class theater it is. If you’re not dressed appropriately, you will not be able to usher or attend the performance. Dress Code for Gentlemen: Solid white (not off-white) collared, button-front shirt. Black dress pants (not jeans). Solid black, comfortable shoes (do not have to be dress shoes but no sneakers please). Solid black sport coat or sweater is optional. Dress Code for Ladies: Solid white (not off-white; no prints or patterns) button-front blouse. Black skirt or pants. Comfortable solid black shoes. Solid black jacket or sweater is optional. |
